my cabal
This is my first musical post! Hopefully this will be the beginning of a series of posts highlighting certain tracks that I want to share with, as well as having the added bonus of tracking my fluxuating music taste over the coming months and years. This is something I have planned for years and now has finally started!
My Cabal - School of Seven Bells
I first heard this on spotify during a fairly random wander from artist to artist. The floating, harmonic pop of School of Seven Bells has culminated in this remarkable song, released as as single in May of 2007. The twin duo of Alejandra and Claudia Deheza create seemingly abstract lyrical journeys, only later do they add the instrumental parts. My Cabal can be found on the Alpinisms album released by Ghostly International.
